We are an engineering consulting firm with broad experience in manufacturing process development, mechanical design, fabrication, machine analysis, experimentation, and materials testing. We have decades of experience across a wide range of industries.
We are led by Dr. TJ Cyders, who has served as a practitioner, instructor, researcher, and professor of mechanical engineering over the past two decades. His expertise includes mechanical design and analysis, manufacturing processes, materials science, and engineering training.

Design/Fabrication
We have decades of experience in the design and construction of wide-ranging mechanical parts and systems, from single parts to experimental testing platforms and turnkey manufacturing solutions. We have an onsite machine shop including mills and lathes, limited CNC capabilities, welding, and traditional and laser-based metrology.
Machine Analysis, Instrumentation, and Reverse Engineering
We specialize in part and assembly stress analysis and model validation through simulation and direct measurement, including advanced dynamic modeling of machines and mechanisms. We have our own in-house instrumentation and data acquisition, including contact and non-contact (laser-based) measurement systems, and extensive experience in application and calibration of strain gage systems for development of specialized measurement and instrumentation.
Material Testing
We have deep expertise in mechanical testing, including tensile/compression testing, pressure testing, and high-speed fatigue testing, including customized test article design and fixturing design for direct testing of products.
Design Review
We have extensive experience in design and can advise on design process and review drawings and assemblies.
